About the Brand – When two Southern California friends took a college graduation trip down to Costa Rica, Pura Vida was born. Between the stunning sunsets, killer surfing, cool beach towns and awesome people, it didn’t take long for the guys to  fall in love with the laid-back lifestyle.  After bringing back  400 colorful bracelets purchased from a local artist they met on a beach,  and selling them to California consumers who absolutely loved them, Pura Vida (“pure life” in Spanish) began.
